The workshop includes a gourmet luncheon and dessert will be provided by the creative cake designer, Karen Vasquez of Kakes by Karen, a nationally acclaimed cake baker.

The Royal Palm ballroom will be designed for your wedding inspiration by wedding designer and planner Kelly McWilliams, owner of Weddings by Socialites, who is the featured coordinator in the Summer 2009 issue of Bride & Bloom magazine (flowers by Floral Artistry).

Not only will you be given invaluable secrets from these industry experts, but you also receive a swag bag and be entered into a drawing for incredible prizes including a $200 Gift Certificate to AMC Video, a Boudoir Session with Audrey Snow Photography, a $200 Gift Certificate to Tie the Knot Couture Bridal Salon, an Engagement Photo Session with Ashley Brockinton Photography, a Bridal Package from RED Salon & Spa, and Candy Buffet or Escort Card Tablescape (non-floral) from Weddings by Socialites, and a Gift Certificate from Kakes by Karen.

I'm still trying to decide what to do on my tablescapes for this event. I'm completely torn. I have like 82 ideas.
Oh, I should probably tell you what this event is. Um, it's great. You should go. Why? Let me list a few better than good reasons:
{Invitation only vendors} This is key. It means that everyone there has proven themselves worthy to the event host and there won't be 500 vendors clawing at you.

Grandezza Country Club. If you haven't considered this space for your wedding or event, you will after visiting it. We love doing events there! And let's face it, we all love to listen to Sean Hynes speak with that cool irish accent he has.

Debra Mehrberg. Have you seen her work? Off the charts phenomenal custom invites.

Lace and Roses Bridal Boutique. Yep, all the pretty new dresses.

There are others too of course. We will be there (Weddings by Socialites). I am personally inviting you to come over and see us. Really, I do want to see you all.

The Weddings by Socialites Planning Studio & Brides Library is an open door studio filled with ALL and I mean ALL the best wedding inspiration and resources available.
Inside you'll find:

The best part- it's free. No joke; you walk in, and nobody asks you to buy anything! Imagine going to a bridal expo where nobody hounds you to "buy now!"
Instead, we invite you to sit down, have a glass of champagne or cup of coffee, and browse through all our wedding publications and resources.

On top of all this, you'll get honest opinions from our staff, and we have a few weddings (okay, a lot of weddings) under our belts. If you are getting married in Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Ft Myers, Estero, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Boca Grande, Sanibel Island or Captiva Island- this is the place for you.

It's a light hearted and fun studio we have here. We even have a tiara and veil that you can wear while you are here so you can make sure that you feel like the bride that you know you are.
